Charles 'Chuck' Stewart is the founder and president of STEAMERS Inc. He is a seasoned Electrical, IT and Security professional with over 25 years of engineering, telecommunications and security design experience. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in several different underserved communities. His parents divorced when he was young, and he spent his youthful years growing up in a single parent household. As a result, he learned firsthand the importance of mentoring and a father figure being in the household. Prior to moving to the DMV area, Charles was involved with the founding and operations of Time Technical Institute (TTI) in Pittsburgh, Pa. TTI was a non-profit technical training and testing center that offered certification training in A+, Network +, and Security+ for low-income youth and young adults. Charles is currently employed by Shen, Milsom & Wilke (SM&W) LLC as a dual-disciplined Senior IT & Security Associate. In this role, Charles serves as a senior project manager, IT infrastructure and systems, and physical security designer for corporate, government, university and medical facilities. He previously, served as a Senior Communications Engineer for the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA) where he was responsible for designing low voltage telecommunication and physical security CCTV systems throughout the Metro network. Prior to that, Charles spent five years as a Senior Systems Engineer for the Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS) as a government contractor. Charles' education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with a minor in Engineering from the Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications from the University of Pittsburgh School of Information Sciences. Charles is also a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) through Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI). Charles is a life member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. whose motto "Culture for Service and Service for Humanity" was a big inspiration for him to start STEAMERS.
The biggest thing that separates STEAMERS and makes us unique is our people. Our team is comprised from a group of professionals that each specialize in one of our core areas of expertise. From science and technology to physical, mental and financial wellness, we have assembled a group of professionals who have exceled in their professions. We are like an extended family as I have known and had a relationship with every member of my board over 30 years. I have been able to watch firsthand as each person has embarked on their career journeys and reached a multitude of goals and accomplishments along the way. I chose each person specifically based on their backgrounds and skillsets and their commitment to community service.
Audra Kai Woodley is a Board-Certified Quantum Health Coach, educator, and speaker who uses an alternative and comprehensive approach to help empowered women carve a pathway towards a Holistic Lifestyle Transformation. Audra specializes in quantum theory and holistic nutrition using biofeedback technology devices to target and improve physiological imbalances in the body. When we create a state of homeostasis, the aging process slows, the possibility of a prognostic disease lessons, and optimal health and wellness manifests. Prior to becoming a Coach, Audra established a 25+ year career of corporate experience within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community as a Senior Acquisition Program Analyst working highly visible Fighter/Bomber and Cyber Security platforms. Audra’s early education includes separate bachelor’s degrees in physics and commerce and engineering with a concentration in finance; A master’s in information and telecommunications systems management; And, most recently, enrollment in a bachelor to doctorate program in natural medicine. Audra’s the owner and founder of Authentically Holistic, LLC and Audra Kai Quantum Studios (a digital online platform). Together, these resources provide unique technology and principles focusing on the benefits of holistic nutrition, energetic clearing, and detoxification of the mind, body, and generational trauma.
Dr. Allen Lane is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a doctorate degree in education.
Allen, formerly managed and co-facilitated multiple programs within the Homewood Children’s Village (HCV) organization’s “Cradle to Career” pipeline and served as the Sustainability Manager/Community Engagement Specialist in the Office of Child and Community Health (OCCH). Through partnerships with other organizations, he connected the appropriate resources to individuals, families, and businesses who had identified needs, in order to become self-sufficient and sustainable in their community. Prior to joining Homewood Children’s Village, Dr. Lane served as the Team Lead at Pittsburgh King K-8 School. During that time Dr. Lane worked primarily with students in grades 6-8th. He helped transform and create a healthier learning environment that previously consisted of fights daily, parent/teacher confrontations, and a high suspension rate. Early on in his career, Dr. Lane worked at Shuman Juvenile Detention Center for sixteen years, as a youth-care worker, helping develop and implement a High-Impact Unit to hold juveniles who committed the most violent crimes (Murders, Attempted Murders, Aggravated Assault… etc.). In addition, Dr. Lane provided mediation, conflict resolution, and violence prevention between rival gang members throughout Pittsburgh PA, as well as provided informal mentoring that helped decrease violence in the facility and prepared them for reentry to society, upon their release.
Dr. Lane earned his undergraduate degree in Physical Education in Sport and Sport Administration and his graduate degrees in Sports Studies and Administration and Leadership Studies in Education.
Kimberly A. Love, PHR, SHRM-SCP, Strategic Global HR Executive with significant and diversified HR experience in multiple industries, including clinical research technology, retail, supply chain, financial services, healthcare, commercial leasing, global corporate manufacturing/consumer goods, and mortgage. Demonstrated success in leadership, recruitment, retention, crisis management, conflict resolution, benefit design, HR policy interpretations and development, performance management, change management initiatives, and project management. Kimberly has a continued focus on delivering on a purpose while making a difference through leaders to drive results. Kimberly currently is the head of human resources for the Southwest Division of DaVita, fortune 200 National Healthcare Provider covering 5 states (TX, LA, NM, OK, & AR) with revenues in excess of $1.6B, over 300 operating facilities, with more than 5K leaders and direct patient care employees. Prior to joining DaVita, Kimberly led her own Executive HR Consulting Firm, providing HR Leadership and Consultation for small to mid-size organizations. Kimberly also held the Vice President of Human Resources role for Bracket Global. At Bracket Global, Kimberly led the global HR function with 15 locations and more than 1500 employees worldwide, for the clinical trial technology organization. Kimberly’s executive experiences include Rite Aid as well where she led as the Sr. Director of Human Resources of Supply Chain supporting distribution centers across the country and influencing more than 4800 business leaders and employees. Before being elevated to Sr. Director of Human Resources, Kimberly led field retail human resources for New Jersey and Philadelphia markets. Kimberly holds a B.S. in Human Resources from Point Park University and an MBA from University of Phoenix.
Taittiona Miles is an attorney and proud graduate of North Carolina Central University. In 2013, she received a bachelor’s degree in business management. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2016. After graduating law school, Taittiona worked for six years as a civil and post-conviction attorney at N.C. Prisoner Legal Services (NCPLS). During that time, she managed the Safe and Humane Jails Project, advocated and litigated constitutional violations on behalf of incarcerated people throughout the entire State of North Carolina in both federal and State court, and found equitable remedies to de-carcerate North Carolina’s prison population through NCPLS’s Long-Term Incarceration Team. Before leaving NCPLS, Taittiona was the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, where she created monthly programing for staff members to raise awareness toward our own implicit biases.
Today, Taittiona continues her work as a civil litigator as a Trial Attorney for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Charlotte District Office. Her work includes remedying unlawful employment practices by enforcing Federal laws that prohibit employment discrimination.
Before, during, and after law school, Taittiona has been passionate about social justice. She is a member of the Constitutional Rights’ Section for North Carolina Bar Association. She is also Vice President of the Wake County Capital City Lawyers’ Association, a local chapter for Black and brown attorneys in Raleigh, NC. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and practicing self-care.
Kevin Clark is a senior level sales and marketing manager with over 30 years of experience in technology solutions and client relationship management. He is a visionary and long-term strategist with a noteworthy track record in sales, business development, innovative marketing, and client relations in the K-12 education industry, State/Local Government, and medium-sized businesses. Kevin has been employed with Dell, Inc. for over 20 years as a major account manager and is presently an Account Executive 5 where he oversees a growing territory and delivers gross annual revenues in excess of $70 Million a year. He is currently a Top 10 Revenue producer nationwide and past accolades include 2021 and 2022 Dell Account Executive of the Year. Kevin has been recognized for bidding expertise by simplified and successful bidding efforts according to the Maryland Education Enterprise Consortium (MEEC) RFP/contract guidelines (similar to GSA).
Kevin received his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics (Cum Laude) from the Lincoln University of Pennsylvania and his Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Sciences (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and a member of the King David #18 Prince Hall Masonic Lodge of Maryland. Kevin has served on several boards and brings a wealth of technical knowledge and experience to STEAMERS.
Tamara Smith is a banking and finance professional currently employed as a Senior Business Control Analyst at Bank of America. She has been in the finance and banking industry for over 10 years serving in various roles specializing in anti-money laundering and fraud. Her primary responsibilities include identifying suspicious activity through automated and manual processes, risk rating of business customers and the review of enhanced due diligence reviews. She previously served as an anti-money laundering analyst responsible for fraud detection and identifying suspicious account activity.
Tamara attended the Lincoln University of Pennsylvania early in her collegiate career and later transferred to Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Computer Science. She was also a varsity letterman athlete on the Track & Field team as a sprinter and relay team member. Tamara received her MBA from the University of Phoenix in the fall of 2023 with honors. She is now using her master’s degree to move into a managerial position in the banking industry and to help grow and expand her children’s business (Fab MAB LLC).
When Tamara’s not working and tackling fraud, she is actively participating as a Girl Scout pack co-leader, Parent Leader Organization (PLO) member and enjoying traveling with family.
